The diagnostics centre at Anandam Hospital consists of several branches which includes Radiology & Pathology. The department strives to provide high quality & accurate tests at affordable prices. The department uses highly advanced equipments to ensure the best performance. The team in the department consists of experienced and well trained doctors and support staff.

 

The department is equipped to carry out a wide range of tests in the areas Hematology, Biochemistry, Histopathology, Clinical Pathology, Serology Immunology and Microbiology, as we had a tie-up with NABL accreditated Central Lab situated in Indore. The department operates round the clock on all days to ensure that tests are carried out and reports are made available on time for in-patients as well as out-patients. The test menu consists of more than 500 tests and over 100 tests are carried out everyday in the laboratory. The samples on outpatient basis ( On call too ) and in-patient basis are accepted round the clock by the Department and the processing of the test is done as per the request of the patient or the clinician. The results of the routine in-patient's investigations are attached in IPD files in the wards and the ICUs of the Hospital. The turnaround time is faster than that of most other laboratories in the city. The department has all modern state of art auto analyzers. All equipments are well maintained. The department of radiology comprises of X ray, Ultrasonography & CT Scan. It provides diagnostic as well as interventional procedures for both OPD & Indoor patients. Emergency Radiology services are also provided, round the clock for patients from the casualty. Services  The department of Radiology provides both diagnostic and interventional Radiology services to OPD as well as indoor patients. Apart from this, round the clock emergency radiology services are provided to all patients referred from the casualty department as well as indoor patients The OPD working hours are from 8am to 8pm. Technology & Infrastructure

The department of Radiology is equipped with state of art technology. The ultrasound unit is equipped with high definition Aloka Alpha 6 portable machine which includes 3D ultrasound along with Doppler and routine ultrasound.

The CT department is equipped with the state of the art GE CTI High Speed  CT machine which is capable of high speed imaging.

General Radiology services includes X - Ray, which includes various procedures as well. There are two DR machines apart from one portable machine.

Overview

Anandam Hospital has installed the Urodynamics system in terms of Uroflowmetry. Urodynamic studies provide extremely valuable diagnostic data for any of the bladder dysfunctions.
